Carl Sandburg (1878-1967) was an American writer & editor, best known for his poetry. He is also remembered by generations of children for his ROOTABAGA STORIES, a series of whimsical & wacky American fairy tales! Join YouTheatre staff in a short hike up to his home & see the FRP apprentice company perform a Rootabaga! “A MusiCarl” and meet the cast! After lunch we will entertain ourselves with Sandburg’s poetry, stories, comical vignettes and songs from his American Song bag! His nonsense is for everyone! “Let a joy keep you.
